Your information and your choices
To improve the site, we record the pages, recipes, lessons, and tools you use, the actions you take, and approximate active time. When signed in, this may be linked to your account. You can turn this off at any time; your choice does not affect access to the site.

Essential account information
Account details and the favorites, plans, shopping items, kitchen information and nutrition profile you choose to save are used to provide the site and account features.
Automatic popularity counts
We automatically count site sharing actions, views and link clicks of public content to decide which topics to expand. Only daily totals per public page are stored for this report—not individual visit records, account or session identifiers, cookies, IP addresses, search text or personal information. No permission click is needed for these totals. Repeated views count separately, so totals are not unique visitor counts. Anonymous daily totals are retained for long-term popularity comparisons. Historical reports can also summarize older available visit records without returning identities; missing visits cannot be recreated.
Share totals distinguish successful site-link copies from device share handoffs. They do not confirm delivery or recipients. Opening the share dialog, canceled actions, QR scans and sharing outside the site buttons are not counted. Unrecorded past shares cannot be recovered.
Administrators can also see how many accounts currently favorite each item, calculated from saved favorites without showing who saved them. Removing a favorite lowers that total. Device-only guest favorites are not included.
Optional first-party activity
Recording starts only after permission. It covers public content viewed, deliberate actions, search outcomes without unrestricted search text, and estimated active intervals. Signed-in records use the verified account reference; guest sessions are pseudonymous and are not retroactively attached to an account.
Authorized site administrators can review activity and export private reports to understand feature usefulness. It is not sent to AI services or shared for advertising. No replay, recordings, fingerprinting, keystrokes, precise location, passwords, payments, medical values, weight measurements, personal targets or private form contents are collected by this activity feature.
Retention and deletion
Detailed activity expires after at most 90 days. No longer-term personal activity archive is retained. You can withdraw permission and delete recorded activity above. Account deletion also removes associated activity. Administrator access and exports are audited without copying full histories.
Measurement limits
Estimated active time is not proof of reading, learning, eating or buying. Preferences, offline use, blocking and interrupted delivery can leave gaps. Print and download requests do not prove that paper was printed or a file was saved.
